Working at SiriusXM for over 6.5 years, I worked my way from being an intern to programming some of the largest channels on the platform, including Classic Rewind and the 90’s on 9.

During my time at SXM, I worked on channels including Classic Vinyl, Ozzy’s Boneyard, The Bridge, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Radio, BB King’s Bluesville, The Grateful Dead Channel, and Marky Ramone’s Punk Rock Blitzkrieg. I helped build The Led Zeppelin Channel and the 90’s on 9 Top 500 Countdown Channel, and I’ve worked on broadcasts on The Highway, Willie’s Roadhouse, BMP, Diplo’s Revolution, and many more. My work has been seen and heard by millions of consumers, has been featured in multiple trade and industry publications, and has been gone viral on social media

Music Programming Coordinator (2018-2020)

-Schedule, build, and edit daily content logs & playlists for music channels.
-Lead broadcast operations by creating & ingesting content, filling in metadata, creating mix points and display text, placing shows & assets in content logs, QC’ing product, troubleshooting technical issues, and running live broadcasts
-Produce specialty shows by conducting research, booking guests, recording and editing audio, creating playlists, timing out show lengths, mixing for air, and uploading to SXM’s on-demand content system
-Manage copyright & royalties metadata at point of content ingestion & backfill existing assets. Research rights holders & owners if needed
-Edit, produce, and repackage archival content for broadcast, on-demand, and short-form use, research and check legal clearances
-Write copy for interstitial and cross-promotion production pieces, work with imaging producers to shape channel identity and sound
-Collaborate with record labels and artist management to maintain and strengthen corporate partnerships
-Build new permanent and limited-run music channels
-Use audience research to better tailor channel databases, drive content creation, and plan specialty show scheduling
-Refine channel databases by standardizing data points and music metadata
